Our client, a building automation and HVAC services organization, is seeking a Controls Systems Technician to join their team. As a Controls Systems Technician, you will be part of the Field Service team supporting customers and project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Controls Systems Technician
Location: Dublin, OH
Pay Range:$25.87/hr. - $39.04/hr.
What?s the Job?
\t- Perform system commissioning using configuration and commissioning tools for building automation and HVAC control systems. \t
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues. \t
- Conduct system diagnostics, calibration, and commissioning documentation for controllers, sensors, and other end devices. \t
- Communicate project progress, site updates, and service recommendations to customers and management. \t
- Provide solutions to improve facility efficiency and support service-related recommendations and quotations.
What?s Needed?
\t- Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a related field plus three years of industry experience, OR 4+ years of experience servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry. \t
- Knowledge of HVAC control systems, facility management systems, equipment installation, and service techniques. \t
- Ability to troubleshoot and work with building automation and control systems. \t
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. \t
- PC proficiency and the ability to program HVAC-related software.
