Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience integrating commercial cloud environments with agency financial-management, cost-accounting, reporting, or business-intelligence services.
  • Proven hands-on experience designing, deploying, securing, and operating OCI solutions.
  • Experience implementing FinOps capabilities, including cost allocation, chargeback/showback, budgeting, forecasting, optimization, and consumption reporting.
  • Hands-on experience configuring OCI compartments, tagging and cost-tracking tags, budgets, usage reports, cost analysis, and billing exports.
  • Experience designing cost-data integrations with enterprise reporting, financial-management, data-warehouse, or business-intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to define and maintain cost-allocation models that map OCI consumption to organizations, programs, projects, applications, environments, contracts, and customer-defined reporting dimensions.
  • Experience with data transformation, validation, reconciliation, automated reporting, dashboards, alerts, forecasting, and anomaly detection for cloud billing and usage data.
  • Understanding of rightsizing, scheduling, autoscaling, storage lifecycle management, license optimization, discount utilization, idle-resource identification, and cost-governance practices.
  • Working knowledge of least-privilege access, OCI audit logging, secure financial-data sharing, RMF, ICD 503, and NGA A&A processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across finance, procurement, program, cloud, cybersecurity, application, Oracle, and Government teams.

  • Associate- or Professional-level OCI certification in Architect, Security, Data Management, or Cloud Operations.
  • FinOps Foundation Certified Practitioner or comparable cloud-financial-management certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics, Oracle Fusion Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable approved reporting platforms.
  • Experience integrating cloud cost data with financial, procurement, contract-management, or budgeting systems.
  • Experience using OCI usage and cost-report APIs, SQL, data pipelines, or Python to automate reporting.
  • Experience supporting financial-data governance, audit readiness, reconciliation, internal controls, and remediation tracking in a Government or regulated environment.

What you can expect from us

  • The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $150,000 - 180,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
