- Lead and scale a high-impact AI engineering team building productivity solutions used by hundreds of developers across Fusion.
- Drive the vision, architecture, and delivery of next-generation AI-enabled development tools, intelligent automation frameworks, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Partner with Product, Architecture, and Engineering leaders to define and execute a strategic AI roadmap aligned with Oracle's next-generation cloud strategy.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing AI platforms leveraging modern cloud-native architectures, microservices, CI/CD, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Stay hands-on with design, technical reviews, experimentation, and applied AI innovation while mentoring architects and senior engineers.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Manager within the Fusion SCM Architecture organization, you will lead the AI-driven developer productivity strategy across the division. You will define and execute the technical vision for AI-based productivity platforms used by hundreds of developers, ensuring scalability, reliability, and measurable impact.
You will architect, design, and oversee the development of next-generation AI solutions, including intelligent developer tools, automation frameworks, and AI-enabled engineering workflows. This includes maintaining and enhancing existing AI systems while driving innovation through modern AI/ML techniques and cloud-native architectures.
You will lead and grow a small, high-performing AI engineering team, providing strong technical direction, hands-on architectural guidance, mentorship, and performance leadership. You will establish best practices for AI model lifecycle management, governance, evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
You will collaborate closely with Fusion SCM, ERP, and platform engineering leaders to align AI initiatives with broader business and technology strategy. You will drive integration of AI capabilities across development pipelines, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems to deliver seamless and secure experiences.
You will champion modern architectural standards including microservices, micro-frontends, API-first design, CI/CD, DevOps automation, and cloud-native deployment models across OCI, AWS, and Azure environments.
You will communicate complex AI and architectural concepts clearly to senior leadership, product teams, and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and measurable outcomes.
You will stay current with advancements in AI/ML, cloud computing, and enterprise architecture, ensuring Fusion SCM remains at the forefront of AI-enabled engineering innovation.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in AI/ML systems and applied enterprise AI solutions
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript frameworks, and PL/SQL
- Experience with major cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure)
- Expertise in system-level design, service-oriented architecture, REST/SOAP services, and modern UI development
- Experience with cloud-native microservices and micro-frontend architectures
- Expertise in integration technologies such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar platforms
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines in cloud-based environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion SCM Applications
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Gradle
- Exposure to AI capabilities and hands-on implementation experience
- Strong understanding of design patterns and scalable architecture principles

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
