Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Systems Engineering Manager with a focus on Business Intelligence to transform data into actionable insights that drive informed business decisions. The ideal candidate will work closely with functional teams across the department to design dashboards, analyze trends, and support strategic initiatives through data. The candidate must possess strong organizational, leadership, written and verbal communication skills while having the ability to articulate complex project status via dashboards to both customers and internal teams. converse, collaborate, and generate and validate requirements with our cross functional team of engineers, and senior level government staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or other related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work/military experience
At least two (2) years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role
At least right (8) years of experience with the IC
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau
Proficiency in use and data extraction from tools in the Atlassian Suite especially JIRA and Con-fluence
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Outstanding customer focus and service skills
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Knowledge of statistics, forecasting, or machine learning concepts
SQL skills and experience with relational databases
Experience in SharePoint
Experience working in Agile or fast-paced environments
Collaborative, data-driven culture
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)

The likely salary range for this position is $174,250 - $235,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
