• Title: Senior UI Software Engineer  – Angular/NestJS/AWS
• Location: Kissimmee, FL (Hybrid: 1–2 days onsite per week)
• Contract: W2 only, 22 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
• Pay: $75+/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

Overview
We are seeking a Senior UI Software Engineer to build and enhance web commerce experiences for a large, high-traffic consumer platform. This role focuses on modern front-end development with Angular, backend services using NestJS, and cloud-native delivery on AWS in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement scalable UI-focused software components and services
• Build and enhance web applications using Angular and NestJS
• Develop and deploy solutions on AWS, supporting cloud-native patterns
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform debugging and defect resolution
• Collaborate with product and QA partners to refine requirements and ensure quality
• Contribute to component-level architecture and continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay current with emerging tools and practices relevant to modern web engineering

Required Skills

• Angular (professional hands-on experience)
• NestJS (professional hands-on experience)
• AWS / cloud infrastructure experience
• Redis experience
• Experience building and supporting scalable web applications
• Strong testing and debugging skills in production-grade environments
• Agile delivery experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field

Preferred Skills

• Experience with equivalent cloud platforms (in addition to AWS)
• Interest in learning emerging data engineering tools and methodologies
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with periodic onsite presence
