Enterprise Solution Architect (TOGAF | Azure | Insurance)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade solutions. This role focuses on aligning business strategy with technology, especially within the Life & Annuity Insurance domain, leveraging Azure cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end enterprise architecture solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and enterprise architects to define technology roadmaps
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, governance, and security best practices
• Lead architecture discussions and participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB)
• Define system integrations, data flows, and deployment models
• Guide teams on cloud architecture (Azure) and modern engineering practices
• Evaluate and recommend COTS/SaaS solutions
• Support delivery teams to ensure high-quality and scalable implementations

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Enterprise Architecture
• TOGAF certification is required
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure architecture
• Strong domain experience in Life & Annuity Insurance
• Deep understanding of:
• System architecture & integration patterns
• Data flows and deployment models
• Security best practices
• Experience working with Architecture Governance / ARB processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevSecOps (CI/CD pipelines)
• Knowledge of Containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Experience with BizzDesign or similar architecture tools
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 12+ years of IT experience with strong architecture background
• Proven track record in delivering enterprise-scale solutions
• Experience working with insurance clients or platforms
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment (EST hours)
