Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer with strong expertise in AEM 6.5+, Java, Sling, OSGi, and Adobe Experience Manager architecture. The ideal candidate should have completed at least two end-to-end AEM implementation projects, possess strong backend and integration skills, and be experienced in developing scalable, enterprise-grade content management solutions.

Note: Candidates with prior Apple experience are highly preferred, as an in-person Apple interview is mandatory.



Key Responsibilities

AEM Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5+.
  • Develop reusable AEM Components, Templates, Editable Templates, Dialogs, Widgets, and Client Libraries.
  • Build and customize AEM Core Components.
  • Develop Sling Models and HTL (Sightly) components.
  • Implement AEM Workflows, Digital Asset Management (DAM), and Content Fragment Models.
  • Develop Headless CMS solutions using AEM Content Fragments and Experience Fragments.

Backend Development

  • Develop Java-based services using:
    • Java
    • OSGi (Apache Felix R6/R7)
    • Sling Framework
    • JCR API
  • Build RESTful services and integrate external applications.

Integration

  • Integrate AEM with external systems using:
    • REST APIs
    • Web Services
    • JSON
    • XML
    • HTTP/HTTPS
  • Implement authentication and secure communication using SSL/TLS.
  • Develop caching and application performance optimization strategies.

DevOps & CI/CD

  • Build CI/CD pipelines using:
    • Jenkins
    • Maven
    • Hudson
  • Support automated testing using Selenium.
  • Deploy applications across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

Performance & Support

  • Optimize application performance and caching.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with QA, UX/UI designers, Product Owners, and Project Managers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of software development experience.
  • Minimum 2 end-to-end AEM implementation projects.
  • Strong Java development experience.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Apple project or employment experience (Preferred/Client Requirement)
  • Adobe Certified Professional - AEM Developer
  • Experience with Headless CMS
  • Experience with GraphQL in AEM
  • Experience with Adobe Cloud Manager
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with Adobe Target
  • Experience with other CMS platforms (Sitecore, Drupal, Magnolia)
