Overview

We are looking for a Senior Test Manager to manager and coordinate the overall testing effort across a Salesforce-based Contact Center environment. This role will be responsible for planning, organizing, tracking, and reporting on all testing activities, ensuring appropriate test coverage, execution, traceability, and quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

While experience with Software Test Automation is required, this role is primarily focused on test management, governance, organization, and execution coordination. Technical engineers will support the implementation of automation frameworks and tooling; the Test Manager will ensure those efforts align with an effective overall testing strategy and process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the overall testing effort across multiple teams and applications.
• Define and maintain the test strategy, test plans, scope, estimates, schedules, and quality reporting.
• Track the preparation and execution of test cases and ensure testing is progressing according to plan.
• Establish and enforce best practices for test management, documentation, and traceability.
• Define standards for tracking testing activities in Jira, including traceability from:
  Jira Story Test Case Test Execution Results Automated Test
• Ensure appropriate documentation and visibility into test coverage, execution status, defects, risks, and overall quality.
• Coordinate QA engineers, automation engineers, developers, business stakeholders, and release teams throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Partner with technical teams that establish automation frameworks and best practices, ensuring automation efforts support the overall testing strategy.
• Track and report on testing progress, completion, quality metrics, risks, and blockers.
• Provide estimates and forecasts for testing effort and timelines.
• Support release planning by providing clear test readiness and quality assessments.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve testing processes, efficiency, traceability, and automation coverage.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with 10+ years as Test Manager, managing Software Testing and QA efforts.
• Strong experience with test planning, test execution, test reporting, and quality management.
• Experience managing and coordinating teams of QA and/or test engineers.
• Experience with software test automation and an understanding of automation frameworks and best practices.
• Strong understanding of test case management, test execution, defect tracking, and end-to-end traceability.
• Experience using Jira and establishing effective processes for tracking requirements, test cases, execution, and results.
• Experience estimating testing effort and managing testing schedules and deliverables.
• Experience with API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile software delivery environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience testing Salesforce applications and integrations.
• Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright and CRT.
• Experience with Gherkin, automated test repositories, or source control systems used to maintain automated tests.
• Experience with CI/CD and integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Contact Center technologies and workflows.
• Experience with Contact Center platforms such as Amazon Connect, Genesys, NICE, or similar technologies.
