Sr. SQL Developer

Role: Sr. SQL Developer

Location: Oaks, PA (Hybrid)

We are seeking Senior Developers to join our Client Custom Reporting team supporting the Private Equity line of business. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering pixel‑perfect, client‑specific investor and operational reports using Crystal Reports and SSRS, powered by SQL Server stored procedures.

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and enhance Client Custom reports using Crystal Reports (.rpt) and SSRS (.rdl) for Private Equity clients.

·       Analyze and work with SQL Server stored procedures, including understanding business logic, parameters, aggregations, and performance characteristics.

·       Create and modify JSON configuration files that bind data to reporting artifacts.

·       Implement client‑specific logic, including:

o   Investor‑level vs fund‑level reporting

o   Parameter‑driven layouts

o   Conditional sections, headers, and footers

·       Ensure adherence to SQL and reporting standards, including performance tuning and validation.

·       Support report deployment across environments and assist with production issue resolution.

·       Collaborate closely with Product, Data, QA, and Operations teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·       7–8 years of hands‑on development experience in enterprise reporting solutions.

·       Strong expertise in:

o   Crystal Reports

o   SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

o   Microsoft SQL Server (stored procedures, functions, performance tuning)

·       Proven experience working with complex parameter‑driven reports.

·       Experience in Private Equity or Private Markets reporting (NAV, capital balances, commitments, investor statements) is highly preferred.

·       Ability to work with partially reusable artifacts while ensuring full client isolation and correctness.

Nice to Have

·       Experience with financial services or investment management platforms.

·       Exposure to report packaging, batch execution, and PDF generation workflows.

·       Familiarity with data validation and reconciliation processes.
