Summary
Role Summary
This position provides geospatial services and technical expertise to support GIS operations within an enterprise environment. The role manages GIS data, performs spatial analysis, and troubleshoots issues across desktop, web, database, and server environments. This position also supports enterprise geospatial workflows, system integration, and automation using Esri technologies.
Responsibilities
- Perform GIS data development, editing, analysis, and integration into enterprise systems.
- Manage end-user access to geospatial databases and applications.
- Support mapping applications using ArcGIS Online, Portal, and web-based applications.
- Manage and publish map services using ArcGIS Server and enterprise geodatabases such as ArcSDE.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across GIS desktop, web, database, and server environments.
- Develop, configure, and execute scripts and automation using Python/ArcPy, ModelBuilder, SQL, or similar tools.
- Provide formal and informal GIS training and technical guidance to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and workflow diagrams.
- Support system enhancements and process improvements to strengthen GIS operations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience administering and supporting Esri ArcGIS desktop and server technologies.
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Online, and Portal.
- Experience working with geodatabases, feature datasets and classes, domains, and data validation.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and translate user requirements for geospatial applications and solutions.
- Familiarity with web mapping technologies and applications, including ArcGIS Online, Portal, or JavaScript-based web applications.
- Experience with Python/ArcPy, SQL, FME, ModelBuilder, or similar automation technologies.
- Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Publishing Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 Annually
