Technology Release Delivery Lead, Data Platforms Modernization

We are not accepting C2C or 1099 arrangements.

Location: Irving, TX (Onsite 5 days per week)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential Extension or Conversion)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Scrum Master, Agile Program Management, Technical Program Management, or related technology delivery roles.
  • Experience leading large-scale technology transformation initiatives, including data platform modernization and cloud migration programs.
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, product, business, risk, and compliance organizations.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira reporting, and program governance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management, release delivery, or enterprise transformation programs.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, cloud migration strategies, and modernization initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex analysis, pivot tables, and executive-level reporting.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence and visualization tools.
  • Experience developing dashboards, metrics, and automated reporting solutions using Jira and related tools.
  • Expertise with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Experience leveraging Generative AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve reporting, productivity, documentation, and software delivery processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results.
About the Job

As a Technology Release Delivery Lead, you will support a strategic enterprise Data Platforms Modernization initiative focused on transforming legacy data platforms, accelerating cloud adoption, and enabling scalable analytics capabilities. You will combine Agile leadership, program management, and technical delivery expertise to drive execution across complex, cross-functional technology programs.

In this role, you will partner with engineering, product, infrastructure, risk, compliance, and executive stakeholders to coordinate modernization efforts, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and deliver business outcomes. You will help ensure successful migration of applications and data platforms while maintaining operational stability and alignment with enterprise technology strategy.
Responsibilities
Program Delivery and Execution
  • Lead delivery of large-scale platform modernization, cloud migration, and data transformation initiatives.
  • Coordinate complex dependencies across multiple technology teams, products, and business functions.
  • Drive execution against milestones, roadmaps, timelines, budgets, and delivery objectives.
  • Ensure program outcomes align with business priorities and enterprise technology strategies.
Technical Delivery Leadership
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to support data platform modernization and cloud transformation efforts.
  • Track and manage application migrations, infrastructure modernization, and platform decommissioning activities.
  • Facilitate alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive successful delivery.
Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with business leaders, CIO organizations, engineering teams, product managers, finance, risk, compliance, and audit partners.
  • Lead executive-level communications, status reporting, and decision-making forums.
  • Drive prioritization discussions and resolve competing business and technology demands.
Governance and Risk Management
  • Establish and manage program governance processes, reporting frameworks, and operational reviews.
  • Consolidate program metrics, financials, roadmaps, risks, dependencies, and executive updates.
  • Proactively identify risks, escalate issues, and implement mitigation strategies to support successful program outcomes.
Agile Delivery and Reporting
  • Facilitate Agile practices and Scrum ceremonies across delivery teams.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting using Jira, Excel, and visualization tools.
  • Implement reporting automation and process improvements to increase transparency and operational efficiency.
Innovation and AI Adoption
  • Leverage Generative AI tools and emerging technologies to improve program reporting, documentation, analysis, and delivery effectiveness.
  • Advocate for AI-enabled productivity solutions and support AI-related program initiatives where applicable.

Work Arrangement: Full-time onsite (5 days per week).
