Product Manager Automotive Domain

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with strong expertise in the automotive domain to drive product strategy, roadmap execution, and customer-centric innovation. The role requires close collaboration with Customer Success, Dealers, End Customers, Sales, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-impact automotive retail and dealership solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and feature prioritization aligned with business goals
Gather and analyze market trends, dealer feedback, customer pain points, and competitive insights
Translate business requirements into scalable product solutions and user stories
Customer & Dealer Engagement
Work closely with Dealers and end customers to understand operational challenges and user expectations
Partner with the Customer Success team to improve customer adoption, satisfaction, and retention
Conduct customer workshops, demos, feedback sessions, and product reviews
Act as the voice of the customer during product planning and execution
Sales & Business Collaboration
Collaborate with Sales teams to support product positioning, client discussions, and business growth initiatives
Support pre-sales activities, customer presentations, and solution demonstrations
Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and product enhancement based on customer needs
Product Delivery & Execution
Work with Engineering, UX, QA, and Delivery teams to ensure timely and quality product releases
Define acceptance criteria and validate delivered functionality against business requirements
Monitor product KPIs, adoption metrics, and operational performance
Stakeholder Management
Coordinate across business, engineering, operations, and external stakeholders
Drive alignment between product vision, customer expectations, and engineering execution
Manage product risks, dependencies, and release communication
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Product Management within the Automotive / Dealer Management System (DMS) domain
Strong understanding of automotive retail workflows including Sales, Service, Parts, CRM, FixedOps, or Dealer Operations
Experience working directly with Dealers, OEMs, Customer Success teams, and end customers
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and roadmap priorities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Preferred Skills
Experience with DMS platforms, FixedOps, Modern Retail, or CRM solutions
Understanding of cloud-based platforms, APIs, and digital transformation initiatives
Exposure to AI/Data-driven product initiatives in automotive retail
