Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for a
Full Stack Developer for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in
New York, NY.
Our client's Institutional Lending Tech team needs an experienced full stack developer to help build leading-edge and scalable systems to support multiple business verticals supporting origination, underwriting, asset management, business operations, market insights, loan pricing, and risk calculations.
Responsibilities: - Design and develop a high-performance, scalable platform to support multiple Lending business lines.
- Develop and maintain reusable and testable backend and frontend components.
- Actively contribute to agile squad ceremonies and practices.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards in all development activities
Required Skills: - 7+ years of a proven development experience in Java, Spring, restful micro-services
- 5+ years of a proven web-applications development experience in Angular, JS or TS, CSS and HTML
- Strong expertise in relational or document databases (Sybase, MongoDB, or similar)
- Experience in OOP concepts and design patterns
- Experience in working with modern code IDEs such as IntelliJ or VS Code
- Hands-on experience with AI developer productivity tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amp, or similar)
- Understanding in relational or document databases (SQL, MongoDB or similar)
- Fluent in English with Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
