Summary

Requirements

3 or more years of experience in Microsoft Defender for Identity and threat investigation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Sentinel for security information and event management.
Experience in developing Sentinel playbooks and automated response workflows.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory security administration.
Experience in Kusto Query Language (KQL) for advanced threat hunting.
Experience with Exchange transport rules and tenant block/allow list configuration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and remediate high-priority security alerts within Sentinel and Defender platforms.
Develop automated response playbooks and workflows to streamline incident remediation.
Conduct technical investigations and perform advanced threat hunting using Kusto queries.
Execute forensic data collection and analysis to support security investigations.
Configure Exchange transport rules and security policies to mitigate messaging threats.
Manage and maintain tenant-level security configurations and environmental block lists.
Enforce enterprise security policies and procedures across integrated identity systems.
