Create and execute functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end tests.
Develop automation solutions using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive test scenarios.
Identify, document, track, and validate software defects using tools such as JIRA.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Perform API testing using REST APIs, Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
Execute database validation and backend testing using SQL.
Conduct performance, integration, and reliability testing when required.
Review automation code and ensure adherence to coding and testing best practices.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps engineers.
Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Continuously improve test coverage, automation stability, execution time, and overall QA processes.
11+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development.
Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong experience with API testing and automation.
Experience with REST Assured, Postman, or similar API testing tools.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab and source-control practices.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA processes.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
