Role: Business System Analyst/Scrum Master with SQL and REST API

Location: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid - 2/3 days a week)

Duration: W2 Contract

Job Summary

We're looking for a results-driven Business Systems Analyst/Scrum Master who can bridge business needs and technical solutions and facilitate Agile delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in requirements analysis, Scrum facilitation, SQL, and RESTful APIs, and can collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field

7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Scrum Master, or hybrid role

Strong hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, data validation)

Experience working with RESTful APIs

Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe)

Experience in cloud-based or microservices architectures

Knowledge of JSON, XML, and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)

Background in finance, healthcare, retail, or enterprise systems

Experience working in distributed or client-facing environments
