Position Title: Informatica Administrator (Cloud Migration)
Location: Newark, NJ
Type: Contract

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Administrator to manage Informatica environments and support cloud migration initiatives. The role involves administration, upgrades, and migration of Informatica platforms while ensuring system stability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, and IICS environments (Dev, Test, Prod).
Lead and support migration of Informatica workloads from on-premises to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and environment refresh activities.
Monitor services, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
Manage user access, security roles, repositories, and metadata.
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams during migration.
Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in Informatica Administration (PowerCenter / IICS / IDMC).
Experience with cloud migration projects.
Knowledge of AWS or Azure (preferred).
Experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
Good understanding of database connectivity.
Experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
Exposure to scheduling tools and CI/CD integration is a plus.
