Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot large-scale enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in routing, switching, LAN/WAN, network security, wireless, data center networking, network monitoring, and enterprise network architecture.
The candidate should be comfortable working on complex network environments, leading technical projects, troubleshooting critical issues, developing network designs, and providing technical guidance to other engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise-wide LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless infrastructure, and related network equipment.
- Support data center network installations, network access ports, cabling, and physical network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Work with security teams to implement and maintain network security standards.
- Support firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, NAC, authentication, and network access security requirements.
- Participate in routing protocol implementations, network upgrades, wireless projects, security initiatives, and infrastructure migrations.
- Perform packet captures and detailed network troubleshooting using Wireshark/NetMon and other network analysis tools.
- Develop and maintain network diagrams, configurations, standards, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Identify opportunities for network automation and eliminate repetitive manual processes.
- Lead network projects from planning through implementation and completion.
- Coordinate technical resources and provide technical direction to other engineers.
- Mentor junior Network Engineers and provide technical guidance to support teams.
- Recommend improvements to network architecture, reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
- Analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support when required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional Network Engineering experience, preferably supporting large enterprise environments with 5,000+ network devices.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Foundry networking equipment.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise LAN/WAN, wired and wireless networking.
- Experience designing, implementing, operating, and troubleshooting large-scale network environments.
- Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, and authentication technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively lead complex network projects.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification is a plus.
- Juniper or Foundry certifications are a plus.
- Experience with network automation and scripting.
- Experience working in large enterprise or data center environments.
- Experience serving as a technical lead for network infrastructure projects.
