Job Description
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in banking domain testing for commercial loan systems, test automation frameworks, and Agile delivery and a proven ability to design and implement scalable test automation that improves quality and accelerates delivery across UI and API layers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead quality engineering efforts within an Agile squad, chapter, and tribe.
- Own test strategy, planning, framework implementation, and execution.
- Design and develop new automation frameworks and maintain existing automation with clean, reusable components.
- Create structured UI and API automated tests and organize them into repeatable suites for web and mobile applications as applicable.
- Author comprehensive test cases in test management tools and ensure coverage across features and changes.
- Efficiently reproduce issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate to resolve defects and maintain timelines.
- Apply AI-enhanced capabilities for self-healing locators and failure analysis using tools such as Katalon and WebdriverIO.
- Conduct exploratory testing and ensure alignment of product requirements with test coverage and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong banking domain expertise in commercial loan systems across the full lifecycle, including onboarding and origination, funding and boarding, payments and deposit integrations, servicing, collateral, participation, and syndication.
- Proficiency with test automation for UI and API using tools such as WebdriverIO, Katalon, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies including functional, API, regression, and integration testing.
- Experience authoring test cases, managing test data, and executing tests within Agile processes.
- Defect management skills, including identification, logging, tracking, and verification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with root cause analysis experience.
- Clear verbal and written communication with developers, QA, and stakeholders.
- Experience level: 5+ years in quality engineering or SDET roles with automation focus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience applying AI for self-healing locators and failure analysis in tools such as Katalon and WebdriverIO.
- Experience with test data management, database testing, and data extract automation.
- Background in payments integrations, servicing platforms, and move-money workflows.
- Prior work in Agile/Scrum settings with continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
