Job Description
Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
  • Drives adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes (e.g., AI-assisted code review/refactoring, test acceleration, release readiness, incident/root-cause analysis), while establishing measurable validation standards (secure coding, peer review, automated testing) and promoting reuse of proven patterns and automation within the SDLC/TLM toolchain.
  • Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation at scale.
  • Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes

Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered.
Java Engineer with Agentic AI
Skills required: -
  • AWS preferred, Kubernetes, some streaming/Kafka, NOSQL, CI/CD, testing, alerts, and monitoring (Splunk/Dynatrace). Must know AI for code optimization to accelerate development.
  • CCB Digital – Connected Banking.  working on SaaS platforms that are both customer-facing and integrated internally.  
  • Team is building agents across this platform.  They are using AI to solve business use cases.
  • Need strong Senior level coders (generally 7+ years) that can perform code reviews and participate in design discussions, not people managers.
  • Software Engineers Java or Python Cloud, NOSQL Kafka monitoring + Agentic AI exp. (MCP, Google ADK, exp building software that integrates with AI Agents)
  • AWS preferred but needs experience with containerization and CI/CD at a minimum.
  • Testing (Junit, Mockito, etc) and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, splunk, etc) are important, as well as REST API. 
 
  • Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a financial services environment.
Technology coach, and leader to help team solve technology problems.
Secondary location is Columbus, OH

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $70- $80 per hour on W2
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
