Role Overview
We are hiring two senior, hands-on Azure Migration Engineers to execute the migration of ~200 servers from Rackspace to Azure in a healthcare environment.
These engineers must be capable of independently driving migration tasks, validating application dependencies, implementing HA/DR configurations, and ensuring stability for systems integrated with Epic-hosted applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute server migrations using Azure Migrate and related tools.
- Deploy and configure Azure compute, storage, networking, and security components.
- Validate integrations with Epic-hosted environment and other healthcare applications.
- Implement high availability, backup, replication, and failover configurations.
- Configure monitoring, dashboards, and alerting.
- Maintain migration documentation and support operational handoff.
Required Experience
- 5+ years hands-on Azure implementation and migration experience.
- Healthcare application migration experience required.
- Experience in Epic-integrated environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of HA/DR, resiliency, and failover architecture.
- Ability to work independently onsite and move execution forward rapidly.
