Summary
Position: Google Apigee Migration Engineer / Developer
Location: Dallas, TX or San Antonio, TX
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
We are looking for a hands-on Google Apigee Migration Engineer / Developer to support a major transportation client through an enterprise API modernization initiative.
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on Google Apigee / Apigee X experience
- Proven experience with API migration and API proxy development
- Experience creating, configuring, troubleshooting, and deploying Apigee API proxies and policies
- Strong REST API development and troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0 and JWT
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with CI/CD and automated API deployments
- Strong understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization
- Experience integrating APIs with backend/enterprise systems
- Strong testing, troubleshooting, and production stabilization experience
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who can take an existing API, analyze its behavior and dependencies, migrate it into Apigee, configure policies and security, deploy through CI/CD, troubleshoot issues, and validate it for production.
