About the Role

The Senior Data Engineer Consultant is responsible for designing building and optimizing scalable data pipelines and
architectures that deliver high-quality reliable and governed data for analytics and decision-making In this role you will
closely collaborate with product analytics and infrastructure teams to create automated maintainable and high performing
data systems within cloud environments Success in this position requires deep technical expertise in data modeling data
engineering design patterns and cloud native technologies The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong architectural mindset
maintains exceptional coding standards and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling effective
collaboration with both engineering and business stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable Google Cloud Platform data pipelines using Big Query Dataflow and PubSub
• Architect efficient ETLELT processes and data modeling star snowflake data vault
• Collaborate with analytics teams to optimize data ingestion transformation and storage
• Implement Apache Airflow Cloud Composer orchestration for complex workflows
• Develop monitoring alerting and data quality frameworks
• Conduct code reviews and create comprehensive technical documentation
• Build automated testing and validation pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in CS Data Engineering or related
• 11 yrs data engineering 5 yrs Google Cloud Platform Handson Expertise in Python advanced SQL Big Query Dataflow
• Apache Airflow Cloud Composer orchestration experience
• Strong data modeling and design patterns
• Docker Kubernetes deployment experience
• Exceptional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certified
• Databricks Apache Beam experience
• Media entertainment or enterprise analytics experience
• Atlassian tools Jira Confluence

• Own end to end Google Cloud Platform pipeline delivery
