About the Role:

The HPP Molding Technician Level III plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by overseeing and optimizing the high-pressure processing (HPP) molding operations to ensure the production of high-quality components. This position requires advanced technical expertise to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve HPP molding equipment and processes, thereby minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency. The technician will collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, the role involves training and mentoring junior technicians to build a skilled and knowledgeable team. Ultimately, the technician's efforts directly contribute to the consistent delivery of superior products that meet customer specifications and support the company's manufacturing goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with HPP molding or similar manufacturing processes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining molding equipment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and process documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related discipline.
  • Experience with PLC programming and control systems used in molding operations.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Certification in industrial maintenance or related technical fields.
  • Previous experience training or supervising manufacturing technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor HPP molding machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on molding equipment to reduce downtime and extend machine life.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues in the HPP molding line.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to implement process improvements and corrective actions.
  • Document production data, maintenance activities, and process changes accurately and timely.
  • Train and mentor Level I and II technicians to enhance team capabilities and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all phases of operation.
