Summary

Title : SAP Functional Financial Accounting (FI) Analyst (with Active Security Clearance)
Location: Pennsylvania (PA) or Washington, DC – Hybrid


Job Summary
The SAP Functional FI Analyst is responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) module for government or federal contractor systems. The role works closely with finance teams, technical developers, and project managers to implement financial processes, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and support SAP system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FI functional specifications.
  • Configure and maintain SAP Financial Accounting (FI) modules including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Asset Accounting (AA)
    • Bank Accounting
  • Support SAP integration with other modules such as:
    • SAP CO (Controlling)
    • SAP MM (Materials Management)
    • SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
  • Work with ABAP developers to design and test enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and testing cycles (unit testing, UAT, regression testing).
  • Troubleshoot SAP FI issues and provide production support.
  • Document business processes, configurations, and functional specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations and auditing requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial reporting and system efficiency.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Security Clearance (Secret or higher).
  • Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Hands on SAP FI functional experience.
  • Hands-on experience configuring GL, AP, AR, and Asset Accounting.
  • Experience supporting SAP implementations or upgrades.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into SAP configurations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with U.S. Federal Government financial systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance.
  • Experience with SAP CO integration.
  • Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, federal financial reporting standards).
  • SAP Certification in SAP Financial Accounting (FI).
