RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Integration Architect Workday Financials in Grand Rapids, MI.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end integration architecture and development efforts for Workday Financials implementations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable Workday integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and other Workday integration technologies
* Develop and optimize Workday reports and integrations to support financial operations, reporting requirements, and downstream systems
* Evaluate existing integrations and technical architecture to identify opportunities for improved performance, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability
* Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for Workday Financials integration solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business requirements
* Partner with Finance, HR, IT, and external vendors to understand requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions
* Leverage Workday Extend and Orchestrate to explore opportunities for extending platform capabilities, streamlining workflows, and improving integration processes
* Contribute to the organization's longer-term innovation roadmap, including potential adoption of AI capabilities, AI agents, and emerging Workday technologies
* Assess opportunities to leverage complementary platforms and technologies, including Adaptive Planning and Palantir, where applicable
* Establish integration best practices, promote reusable solutions, and ensure integrations remain reliable as the Workday environment evolves
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of relevant experience in Workday technical architecture, integration development, or enterprise integration solutions
* Strong hands-on technical experience with Workday Financials
* Extensive experience designing, developing, and supporting Workday integrations
* Experience developing Workday reports and supporting complex reporting and integration requirements
* Experience troubleshooting complex integration issues and optimizing existing technical solutions
* Strong understanding of integration architecture, data flows, system dependencies, and enterprise application integrations
* Proficiency with Workday integration technologies such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and related integration tools
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
* Ability to lead technical discussions, influence architectural decisions, and collaborate across business and technology teams
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Workday Extend and Orchestrate
* Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
* Experience with Palantir or other complementary enterprise data and integration platforms
* Experience supporting Workday Financials optimization, platform stabilization, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Familiarity with Workday AI capabilities, AI agents, and emerging AI-driven workflow automation
* Ability to identify opportunities for innovation and help shape the future technical roadmap
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
