Lead iOS Mobile Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead iOS Mobile Engineer in Madison, WI.

Key Responsibilities:
Mobile Application Development:
* Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality native iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks
* Build scalable, maintainable, and performant mobile solutions that support critical customer-facing experiences
* Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences
* Participate in all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle

Quality & Reliability:
* Analyze and resolve complex production issues affecting application stability and customer experience
* Implement robust testing strategies including unit, integration, and UI automation testing
* Improve application observability, monitoring, error tracking, and performance metrics
* Conduct code reviews and advocate for engineering excellence across the team

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
* 8+ years of software engineering experience
* 5+ years of hands-on native iOS development experience
* Experience implementing modern architectural patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, VIPER, or similar
* Experience consuming cloud-hosted APIs and microservices
* Experience publishing and supporting applications in the Apple App Store
* Strong experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, code review practices, and Agile delivery methodologies
* Expert-level proficiency with Swift
* Deep understanding of UIKit and SwiftUI
* Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and mobile service integrations
* Solid understanding of application performance optimization and memory management

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
