Graphic Designer

Akkodis is seeking a Graphic Designer job with a client in Rochester, NY. Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field to be considered. Will develop engaging and market-relevant artwork for personalized photo products. In this role, you will partner closely with product, content, marketing, and merchandising teams to deliver designs that align with the brand's vision. Your work will directly shape the look and feel of personalized gifts that customers proudly share and cherish.

Rate Range: $30/hr. to $36/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Graphic Designer responsibilities include:

Create original artwork, templates, and graphic designs for personalized products like photo books, prints, wall art, and cards.

Adapt and optimize artwork for various product formats and technical platform requirements.

Support marketing campaigns by creating promotional visuals, banners, and digital assets.

Input all graphical designs and related files into an internal asset management system for tracking.

Partner with product, content, marketing, and merchandising teams to understand customer preferences and trends.

Collaborate with internal designers and marketing managers to brainstorm, review, and share design concepts.

Articulate design concepts and technical requirements clearly to engineering and development teams for seamless implementation.

Train and support third-party design agencies on template and graphic design guidelines when necessary.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering tasks on time based on the project backlog.

Utilize internal tools and applications to create, manage, and track proprietary templates.

Partner with software QA technicians to troubleshoot and resolve template printing issues.

Incorporate customer feedback and performance data to continuously refine design offerings.

Stay up to date with industry trends to propose fresh, competitive concepts.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is required.

Minimum Three years related experience.

Ecommerce, personalized products, and consumer goods is required.

Proven experience creating designs specifically for cards and photo products.

Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital design, illustration, and layout.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).

Strong understanding of graphical file formats, pixels, DPI, and EXIF data.

Experience designing both print and digital media with an understanding of production constraints.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
