Job Title: SAP APO Techno-Functional Consultant
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Initial 3 Months (High likelihood of extension)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP APO Techno-Functional Consultant to support ongoing enhancements, system migration efforts, and stabilization initiatives within an enterprise APO landscape. This role requires a strong blend of functional expertise and hands-on configuration capability, along with the ability to collaborate closely with technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support APO extension initiatives, including expanding planning capabilities beyond current product forecasting.

• Finalize configuration and assist with execution based on prior discovery, design, and prototyping work.

• Contribute to system migration efforts from legacy platforms to SAP, impacting APO, purchasing, and requisition processes.

• Coordinate and support testing activities, validate integrations, and ensure smooth execution alongside project stakeholders.

• Address CIF/SIF integration challenges between SAP ECC and APO:

  • Improve data synchronization (especially sales orders)

  • Reduce discrepancies and enhance automation

  • Stabilize data movement processes

• Provide ongoing support for ad-hoc APO-related business queries.

• Work closely with internal teams and SME advisors to deliver functional solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with SAP APO and SAP ECC environments.

• Hands-on expertise in the following APO modules:

  • Demand Planning (DP)

  • Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)

  • Supply Network Planning (SNP)

  • Capable-to-Match (CTM)

  • Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP)

  • Inventory Segmentation

• Solid understanding of SAP ECC master data relevant to APO.

• Deep knowledge of CIF (Core Interface) and/or SIF integration.

• Proven ability to perform SAP configuration changes across APO modules.

• Experience working in cross-functional environments with ABAP/technical teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in manufacturing or supply chain domains

• Prior exposure to system migrations or transformation initiatives

• Familiarity with planning/forecasting integration tools
