Senior Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Senior Data Engineer to join their team.

Summary:We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data platforms and large-scale data solutions. This role will focus on building and maintaining data pipelines, integrating data from multiple source systems, and enabling scalable analytics and reporting capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines
* Build and optimize complex data models, data transformations, and large-scale data integrations
* Develop and tune highly complex SQL queries for data processing and analysis
* Integrate and consolidate data from various enterprise systems and databases
* Work with cloud-based data platforms and data warehouse technologies to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
* Implement workflow orchestration and automation solutions to improve data processing efficiency
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
* Support data quality, governance, and performance optimization efforts
* Contribute to modernization and scalability initiatives within enterprise data environments
* Partner with teams leveraging machine learning and AI technologies to support data consumption and model development

REQUIREMENTS:
* 6-8+ years of data engineering experience
* Strong in SQL (be able to tune queries properly, write complex queries, join tables, etc.)
* Experience with ETL processes
* Python experience
* Google Cloud Platform Experience (with BigQuery)
* Strong Communication - ability to communicate with the business and stakeholders
* Experience in creating pipelines for data extraction, cleansing, and movements (airflow) a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
