Job Description

Marketing and Communications Specialist
Experience level: 2 to 4 years
Location: Charlotte, NC
Role purpose:
This role is intended to be an execution partner who can take day-to-day marketing and communications tasks and run with them independently, helping expand bandwidth across ongoing priorities.

Primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting day-to-day marketing execution across campaigns and initiatives
- Drafting and editing content, including internal communications, LinkedIn posts, and basic marketing copy
- Assisting with website updates and content coordination
- Supporting event marketing logistics and materials, including pre-event and post-event support
- Helping organize and manage marketing workflows, timelines, and deliverables
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather content, updates, and approvals
- Assisting withthe creation and formatting of marketing materials such as one-pagers, presentations, and email communications
- Supporting social media scheduling, monitoring engagement, and maintaining posting consistency
- Tracking basic performance metrics for campaigns and social media efforts
- Assisting with vendor coordination for print, signage, and promotional materials
- Providing general administrative support related to marketing operations
