Job Title: Senior Frontend Developer – Database Patching Automation

Location: Alpharetta, GA or Berkeley Heights, NJ (5 days onsite/week – Mandatory)
Pay Rate: $70/hr

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in Angular and ReactJS to design and develop an enterprise-grade Database Patching Automation Portal. This portal will manage large-scale database patching across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance operations for mission-critical databases.

The platform enables:

• Patch orchestration and scheduling
• Version compliance tracking
• Environment-wise deployment
• Risk classification and audit trails
• Role-based approvals and deployment dashboards
• Real-time patch status monitoring

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a centralized DB Patching Management Portal.
• Build UI modules for:
  • Patch Inventory Dashboard
  • Patch Scheduling
  • Patch Approval Workflow
  • Deployment Tracking
  • Compliance Reporting
  • Environment Health Monitoring
  • Rollback Management
  • Audit Logging
• Develop reusable UI components using Angular (v10+) and ReactJS.
• Implement workflow-driven UI for patch request submission, multi-level approvals, and deployment window management.
• Integrate with backend systems such as:
  • Patch Automation Engines
  • Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • CI/CD Pipelines (Terraform, GitLab CI/CD)
  • ITSM tools (ServiceNow / Remedy)
• Implement secure authentication & authorization (RBAC, SSO – SAML/OAuth2).
• Build real-time dashboards for patch deployment status and optimize UI performance for enterprise-scale environments.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce UI architecture standards.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate in Agile teams.

Mandatory Skills

• Frontend Frameworks: Angular (v10+), ReactJS
• Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS
• UI Libraries & Tools: Material UI, Axios, React Router, NPM, Node.js, JEST
• State Management: Redux, NgRx
• Authentication & Security: OAuth2, SAML, JWT, RBAC
• Version Control: Git, Azure DevOps
• Scripting & Automation: Python, Ansible (extensive experience mandatory)
• Database Knowledge: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, IBM DB2, MongoDB, Cassandra

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• DevOps / Infrastructure: Terraform, CI/CD integration, environment provisioning
• Enterprise Integration: ITSM tools (ServiceNow), CMDB, monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics), Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform), DevSecOps toolchains
• Other: DBA exposure, workflow UI development, audit/compliance dashboards, change/release management platforms, internal developer portals
