VP of Enterprise Security

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a VP of Enterprise Security in Jacksonville, FL.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the enterprise security function and drive maturity toward recognized frameworks (e.g., CSF)
* Oversee identity, cloud, and SIEM strategies across a multi-office, Azure-focused environment
* Partner closely with Technology, Risk Management, and executive leadership to scale security capabilities in line with projected 30% organizational growth
* Provide hands-on guidance, coaching, and mentorship to a small but growing team
* Strengthen detection, response, governance, and policy alignment across the enterprise
* Ensure security readiness for modernization initiatives, cloud expansion, and AI governance

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-8 years of experience at the VP or Senior Director level in enterprise or corporate security
* Strong preference for candidates with mortgage industry experience
* Background in financial services, compliance-driven industries, or other highly regulated sectors
* Demonstrated experience scaling a security program from medium maturity toward framework alignment
* Hands-on, practical leadership style with strong people-management skills

Strong grasp of modern security technologies and practices, including:
* Okta (IAM)
* Splunk or Rapid7 (SIEM-currently vendor managed)
* Azure cloud security
* AI/Copilot governance

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
