Role: Senior React Developer with investment banking industry experience Location: New York City - 3 days/week onsite (In person Interview)
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior React Developer with investment banking industry experience to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using React.js. The ideal candidate has a strong background in front-end development, familiarity with the financial sector, and the ability to lead projects from conception to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable and efficient web applications using React.js
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
Work closely with back-end developers and other team members to deliver integrated solutions
Incorporate domain-specific requirements, especially related to investment banking workflows and data
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, especially in finance and front-end development
Participate in planning, deploying, and troubleshooting applications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with at least 6 years in React.js
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques
Experience with version control systems like Git
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with investment banking or financial services companies
Familiarity with banking workflows, financial data visualization, or trading platforms
Experience with TypeScript
Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Experience with agile development methodologies
Backend knowledge (Node.js, Express.js) is a plus
