Business Systems Analyst - EDW

Job Summary We are seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). The role will work with business stakeholders to understand business needs, document technical requirements, and build and manage the product backlog. The position will contribute to developing solutions that enable the business to leverage data as an asset. Key EDW technologies include Snowflake, DataStage, Python/PySpark, Infogix, and Tableau. This is a hybrid role based in Columbus, Ohio, with a minimum of four days per week working in the office. Key Responsibilities Serve as a liaison and knowledge source for stakeholders, the Product Owner, and team members. Work within an Agile environment to translate requirements into Features and User Stories in collaboration with the team. Collaborate with the Agile team, Product Owner, and business stakeholders to facilitate requirements gathering, including documenting source-to-target data mappings. Partner with the Product Owner and subject matter experts to refine Epics, leading to the creation of Features and User Stories. Facilitate backlog refinement sessions to define user story details, acceptance criteria, and story points with team members. Ensure user stories are sufficiently refined and ready for prioritization in the backlog. Participate in the identification, quantification, and mitigation of project risks and issues. Collaborate with Application BSAs to identify and escalate impediments affecting requirements completion to the Scrum Master. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a Data Warehouse environment. 3+ years of experience using SQL to create ad-hoc queries and analyze data. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in the financial services or banking industry. 5+ years of experience with Snowflake and AWS S3. 5+ years of experience with data modeling activities using Erwin or other data modeling tools. 5+ years of experience with enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards. 5+ years of experience creating source-to-target data mappings. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience leading other Business Systems Analysts on a project team. Education: Bachelors Degree
