Software Engineer ( .NET Full Stack )

Contract for W2

$68-$73 HR

Hybrid onsite in Charlotte NC
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience developing applications using .NET and C#.
  • 10+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC, including Controllers and Views.
  • 10+ years of experience in web application development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
  • 10+ years of experience working with SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and database optimization.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience applying SOLID design principles in enterprise-scale software development.
  • Experience integrating applications with architectural components such as message queues, distributed caching platforms, or similar technologies.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or comparable coding agents.
  • Experience with CI/CD and enterprise software delivery processes, including Jenkins, Harness, UCD, ServiceNow Change Management, SDLC, and secure coding practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with OpenShift (OCP) and Kubernetes environments.
  • Understanding of Clean Architecture principles and modern software design patterns.
  • Knowledge of Twelve-Factor App methodology and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience practicing Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience developing and maintaining Playwright UI automated tests.
  • Experience building applications with Blazor.
  • Experience developing software solutions within information security or cybersecurity environments.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.
  • Experience with solution architecture, system design, and scalability planning.
  • Familiarity with CyberArk APIs and Enterprise Password Vault (EPV).
  • Experience building Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers or AI integration frameworks.
About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications while contributing to complex technical initiatives with broad organizational impact. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, architect technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software using modern development practices.

In this role, you will:
  • Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade web applications and APIs.
  • Review and solve complex software engineering challenges involving multiple systems and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to define technical strategy and implementation plans.
  • Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with organizational standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to technical leadership initiatives.
  • Support application deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain applications using .NET, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, and modern web technologies.
  • Design and integrate RESTful services and distributed system components.
  • Apply software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, secure coding, and automated testing.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability.
  • Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet strategic objectives.
  • Participate in Agile development processes and CI/CD workflows.
