Job Title: Senior Software Engineer / Lead Developer – Java, Python & Agentic AI
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: Long Term Contract
 
Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Java and Python Developer with hands-on experience in Chat bot, Agentic AI systems, LLM orchestration, and AI-powered application development.
  • The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy intelligent AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, tool usage, memory management, and autonomous task execution.
  • You will work closely with architects, product owners, and data scientists to build next-generation AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI frameworks, and enterprise-grade backend systems.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
  • Build and deploy  ChatBot, Agentic AI solutions using frameworks such as:
    • LangChain
    • LangGraph
    • AutoGen
    • CrewAI
    • Semantic Kernel
    • OpenAI Agents SDK
  • Develop AI agents with capabilities including:
    • Planning and reasoning
    • Multi-agent collaboration
    • Tool calling and function execution
    • Memory management
    • Knowledge retrieval (RAG)
  • Integrate LLMs such as:
    • Azure OpenAI
    • OpenAI GPT Models
    • Claude
    • Gemini
    • Open Source LLMs (Llama, Mistral)
  • Design and implement REST APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and Python frameworks.
  • Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases.
  • Develop AI workflows using prompt engineering and agent orchestration patterns.
  • Integrate enterprise data sources, APIs, databases, and third-party systems into AI applications.
  • Optimize AI agent performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
 
Required Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
  • 7+ years of software development experience.
Strong expertise in:
  • Java 11/17+
  • Spring Boot
  • Python
Experience with:
  • LangChain
  • LangGraph
  • CrewAI or AutoGen
  • Semantic Kernel
Strong understanding of:
  • Agentic AI
  • Generative AI
  • Machine Learning fundamentals
  • Prompt Engineering
  • RAG architecture
Experience with Vector Databases:
  • Pinecone
  • ChromaDB
  • Weaviate
  • Azure AI Search
Cloud experience:
  • Microsoft Azure (preferred)
  • AWS or Google Cloud Platform
Knowledge of:
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Git
Database Skills:
  • SQL Server
  • PostgreSQL
  • MongoDB
  • Cosmos DB
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience building multi-agent AI platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI Service.
  • Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
  • Experience with AI observability, evaluation, and monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of graph databases such as Neo4j.
  • AI certifications in Azure AI, OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, or related technologies.
 
Nice to Have:
  • React.js or Angular experience.
  • Experience developing AI copilots and intelligent assistants.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or enterprise digital transformation projects.
