Hiring: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer Chicago, IL (Hybrid Local Candidates Only)
We are actively seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join Hyatt s Global Digital & Technology team supporting innovative guest-facing and enterprise platforms.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on cloud-native application development, serverless architecture, DevOps, and full-stack engineering within a modern AWS ecosystem.
Key Technologies & Experience Required:
AWS Serverless Architecture
AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, EventBridge, SQS
React, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML/CSS
Terraform & Infrastructure-as-Code
Serverless Framework & CloudFormation
CI/CD Pipelines (Git, Jenkins, GitLab)
Docker, ECS/Fargate
DynamoDB & Snowflake
Event-driven & Cloud-native architectures
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable cloud-native applications
Lead architecture and engineering discussions
Mentor developers and influence technical direction
Drive modernization and cloud migration initiatives
Collaborate across Product, UX, Engineering, and Operations teams
Support production systems and deployment processes
Qualifications:
8+ years of Full Stack Engineering experience
Strong AWS serverless expertise
Strong React + TypeScript development experience
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps automation
Agile environment experience
Must currently reside in the Chicago area
Preferred:
AWS or Snowflake certifications
Redshift or DB2 experience
Dimensional modeling experience
Proven cloud migration leadership experience
