Reliability Engineer Intern

Job Description:

Support the performance of product qualification testing of semiconductor circuits:

Identify and prepare samples for tests

Develop test fixtures and/or circuit boards for qualification tests as required; may include mechanical assembly and soldering

Make DC and RF electrical measurements

Execute qualification and/or reliability tests

Perform statistical analysis of measurement results

Support failure analysis as required

Report results, including recommendations for improvement

Job Qualifications:

Completion of at least two years of a traditional four-year degree program, majoring in EE, Physics, Materials Science, or other technical discipline

Basic understanding of electrical measurements

Basic understanding of electronic principals, including understanding of semiconductor devices

Basic computer programming skills desired

Familiarity with data analysis software tools, such as Excel, MathCad, Minitab or JMP desired

Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
