AV Event and Conference Room Support Specialist
Location: Wayne, PA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: Up to $35/hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do

• Event Setup & Operation
  • Configure and operate audio, video, and lighting systems for corporate events.
  • Ensure proper signal flow and connectivity across AV components.
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft Teams and WebEx platforms; troubleshoot live session issues.
• Conference Room Technology Support
  • Perform health checks on integrated conference room systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technology issues promptly.
  • Install and upgrade AV technology as needed.
• Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with event organizers, IT teams, and vendors to meet technical requirements.
  • Deliver real-time support during events.
• Equipment Management
  • Maintain AV inventory and ensure readiness.
  • Perform routine maintenance and escalate repair needs.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience with AV control systems and event execution.
• Familiarity with Poly conferencing systems or similar (3+ years).
• Experience in M365 environment; Cisco WebEx knowledge is a plus (4+ years).
• Hands-on experience with audio systems (microphones, mixers), video systems (cameras, switchers), and lighting systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with streaming platforms and hybrid event technologies.
• Knowledge of AV control systems and networking basics.
• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent certification.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and transport AV equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wayne, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
