Cloud Engineer (Terraform, Ansible, GitLab)

We are currently seeking a Cloud Engineer (Terraform, Ansible, GitLab) for our client in the Oil and Gas domain. Duration: 12+ Months Contract with possible extension

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Salary: $60.00-$70.00/Hourly

Role Description: The Cloud Engineer must have 4+ years of experience. For this role, you must

Required Skills and Experience:

- Cloud Administration ? AWS, Azure, and IBM Cloud Administration experience preferred

- Knowledge of containers, and deployment of containerized applications/microservices architectures

- Specific knowledge and experience with migrating and refactoring applications to containerized workloads

- Terraform experience

- Ansible experience

- Scripting experience

- Experienced with automated deployment tools

- Deep conceptual and applied understanding of DevOps concepts, tools, and practices

- Hands-on experience with GitLab

- Must have good analytic skills and the ability to apply these skills in a multi-tasking environment where multiple projects will require participation at a given time.

- Must have outstanding skills in communicating complex technical issues, and providing comprehensive written, oral and/or digital products.

- Working knowledge of networking topics such as protocols, firewalls, load balancer, etc.

- Must have the willingness to document, share knowledge and train other members of the team.
