Education Requirements


  • Technical school, trade school, electrician training, or equivalent electrical education preferred

  • Electrical engineering graduates interested in hands-on work are encouraged to apply


Experience Requirements


  • Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics (required)

  • Understanding of electrical symbols and basic NEC knowledge

  • Basic experience with control cabinets, panel wiring, or electrical assembly preferred

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools

  • Entry-level candidates with basic electrical knowledge are encouraged to apply


Job Duties


  • Wire and assemble control panels and control cabinets

  • Perform panel layouts, cutouts, and interior panel modifications

  • Cut, strip, terminate, and route wires according to industry standards

  • Install breakers, grounding systems, and electrical components

  • Assist with conduit bending, threading, and installation

  • Cut, ream, bend, and install tubing as needed

  • Support wiring inside control houses and installed equipment

  • Review schematics and panel build requirements each day

  • Perform detailed wiring and assembly work while maintaining quality standards

  • Collaborate with team members to complete panel builds accurately and efficiently

  • Participate in quality reviews of completed panels before final release

  • Continuously improve speed, accuracy, and product knowledge


Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment.

  • Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset.

  • Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Control Panel Technician.
