Note: We need Engineers with solid experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling in both OLPT and EDW (Dimensional Modeling), Strong Data Sense and Communication/Presentation skills. Must have experience communicating with C-Suite and some experience using AI data in practice.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Lead ETL Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of a next-generation cloud-hosted data platform for a leading financial services organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Data Warehousing, ETL Development, Cloud Data Platforms, and Technical Leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect, develop, and maintain Operational Data Stores (ODS), Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW), Data Lakes, Data Marts, and Metadata Repositories.
• Design and implement high-performance ETL and data integration pipelines using Informatica Cloud, Azure Data Factory, SQL Packages, and other ETL technologies.
• Build scalable frameworks for ingesting structured and semi-structured data.
• Develop and optimize large-scale data transformation, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
• Design logical and physical data models and create data architecture and data flow diagrams.
• Implement and support Data Governance initiatives including Data Lineage, Data Catalog, and Data Quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues related to Data Warehouse and ODS environments.
• Develop production-grade ETL solutions with strong testing and validation practices.
• Create automated testing frameworks and integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor''s or Master''s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Warehouse and ETL Development.
• 3+ years of experience in a Technical Lead or Lead Engineer role.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cloud Data Warehouse platforms, preferably AWS Redshift.
• Strong experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS) and enterprise ETL solutions.
• 3+ years of Python development and scripting experience.
• Strong expertise in OLAP Data Modeling and Data Warehouse Design.
• Experience with Data Governance, Data Quality, Security, and Compliance standards (SOC 2, PCI DSS).
• Expertise in SQL development and database performance tuning.
• Experience building and supporting large-scale data processing environments.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in FinTech or Financial Services environments.
• Knowledge of reporting, compliance analytics, and business intelligence platforms.
• Experience implementing enterprise-scale Data Governance programs.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience.
