Sr iOS Engineer

job summary:

We are looking to hire a talented Sr iOS Engineer to design, build, and maintain the next generation of iOS applications. Your primary focus will be developing high-end iOS applications for the latest Apple mobile devices, while leveraging AI-powered engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Prompt Engineering, LLM-based test generation, and predictive quality engineering practices. Your duties may include collaborating with the design team for new application features, identifying and fixing application bottlenecks, maintaining the core code, and updating applications published on the App Store.

• Designing and building native mobile applications for Apple's iOS platform.
• Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
• Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.
• Fixing application bugs before the final release.
• Publishing application on App Store.
• Maintaining the code and atomization of the application.
• Designing and implementing application updates.
• Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.

qualifications:

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.

7-10 years of experience.

Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks and integrating vendor app SDK's.

Knowledge of iOS back-end services.

Knowledge of Apple's design principles and application interface guidelines.

Experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Prompt Engineering, and Generative AI tools to accelerate development and testing.

Design AI-assisted test automation strategies to improve coverage, reduce manual effort, and increase release confidence.

Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, Swift UI.

Knowledge of Apple's design principles and application interface guidelines.

Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket.

Knowledge of C-based libraries.

Experience with continuous integration & Unit tests.

Desired Qualifications

Hands on AI tools usage for development of Mobile applications is a big Plus

Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, usage of Camera API's, etc.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
