DescriptionOur client is a large Technology Service Provider supporting numerous locations across Westchester and Rockland Counties. They deliver end-to-end technical services including device support, infrastructure management, telecommunications, systems administration, and service desk operations.
Each site is supported by a team of Junior Network Specialists responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues across a wide range of devices, including Chromebooks, PCs, Windows devices, smart displays, iPads, and other endpoint technologies. Experience supporting these types of devices is a strong plus.
This role reports to a Managed Information Technology (MIT) Team Lead and requires strong technical aptitude, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. You will work directly with end users and organizational leadership, providing hands-on support and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Preferred Experience- Proficiency with Windows operating systems (Windows 10)
- Experience supporting virtual server environments
- Ability to troubleshoot email-related issues
- Knowledge of workstation setup, configuration, and installation
- Ability to install network operating systems and perform basic network upgrades
- Strong troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, and PCs
- Experience configuring and managing user profiles (Active Directory or similar directory services)
- General networking experience (printers, routers, user/group management)
