Our client is seeking a Tech Level 1 Technician to support a high-volume warehouse environment. This role is a mix of hands-on technical work and operational tasks, supporting device builds, configurations, and fulfillment activities.
This is not a desk-based IT role candidates must be comfortable being on their feet and physically active throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic device imaging and configuration (laptops, Chromebooks, mobile devices)
- Apply asset tags, labeling, and device preparation
- Execute kitting and palletization of IT equipment
- Support order fulfillment (e.g., preparing large batches of devices for customers)
- Handle multiple tasks daily depending on workload and project needs
- Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Required Qualifications:
- Basic IT knowledge (imaging, hardware setup, device configuration)
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing daily tasks
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable working in a team-based, non-desk environment
- Physical Requirements (VERY IMPORTANT):
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Comfortable standing/walking for 8+ hours per day
- Willingness to perform hands-on, physical work (not just computer-based tasks)
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in:
- IT support / help desk (Level 1)
- Warehouse or fulfillment environments
- Device staging, imaging, or deployment projects
Salary/Rate: $20-$22/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
