Tech Level 1 Technician

Our client is seeking a Tech Level 1 Technician to support a high-volume warehouse environment. This role is a mix of hands-on technical work and operational tasks, supporting device builds, configurations, and fulfillment activities.

This is not a desk-based IT role candidates must be comfortable being on their feet and physically active throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic device imaging and configuration (laptops, Chromebooks, mobile devices)
• Apply asset tags, labeling, and device preparation
• Execute kitting and palletization of IT equipment
• Support order fulfillment (e.g., preparing large batches of devices for customers)
• Handle multiple tasks daily depending on workload and project needs
• Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Required Qualifications:

• Basic IT knowledge (imaging, hardware setup, device configuration)
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing daily tasks
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Comfortable working in a team-based, non-desk environment
• Physical Requirements (VERY IMPORTANT):
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Comfortable standing/walking for 8+ hours per day
• Willingness to perform hands-on, physical work (not just computer-based tasks)

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in:
• IT support / help desk (Level 1)
• Warehouse or fulfillment environments
• Device staging, imaging, or deployment projects

Salary/Rate: $20-$22/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
