Miracle Software systems is looking for OCI Cloud Architect / Senior OCI Engineer at Shelton, CT location

Position: OCI Cloud Architect / Senior OCI Engineer

Location: CT

Duration: Longterm

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage OCI cloud architectures aligned with enterprise standards

Lead OCI cloud migration initiatives from on-prem / other clouds to OCI

Provision and manage OCI Compute, Storage, Networking (VCN, Subnets, DRG, Load Balancers)

Implement OCI IAM, security policies, encryption, and compliance controls

Configure and manage OCI Databases (Autonomous DB, Exadata, Oracle DB on OCI)

Automate infrastructure using Terraform / OCI Resource Manager

Monitor performance, availability, and cost optimization in OCI

Support high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) architectures

Troubleshoot OCI infrastructure and resolve production issues

Collaborate with application, DevOps, and security teams

Prepare architecture diagrams, documentation, and best practices

Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Deep knowledge of:

OCI Compute, Block/Object Storage

OCI Networking (VCN, Subnets, Security Lists, NSGs, FastConnect)

OCI IAM & Security

Experience with OCI Database services

Cloud migration experience (On-prem ? OCI)

Infrastructure automation using Terraform

Linux/Unix administration

Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills

Good to Have

OCI Architect or Professional Certifications

Experience with Hybrid Cloud environments

Knowledge of DevOps tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git)

Exposure to Kubernetes / OKE

Experience with Enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, Oracle Apps)

Multi-cloud exposure (AWS/Azure is a plus)

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication skills (client-facing role)

Ability to work independently in an onsite US environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience working in enterprise and regulated environments
