Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect to lead the design and development of enterprise-scale Java applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java technologies, cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and modern software engineering practices. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, development teams, and technical leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-grade Java applications using modern design principles.
• Define technical architecture, application frameworks, and coding standards.
• Lead the design and implementation of microservices-based solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business and technical requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
• Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and recommend long-term solutions.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Java application development, including architecture experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, or Gradle.
• Knowledge of API Gateway, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and enterprise security best practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) are a plus.
• TOGAF or other architecture certifications are preferred.

Education

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
