Job Title: Lead Mobile Developer
Job Location: Palo Alto, California- Onsite

Job Duration: 3-6 Months
Job Description:
- We are looking for a visionary Mobile Development Lead to spearhead our mobile engineering efforts.
- You will be responsible for the technical roadmap of our flagship applications, leading a cross-functional team of iOS and Android engineers.
- Your mission is to bridge the gap between product requirements and technical execution, ensuring we deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable mobile experiences using Kotlin and Swift.
Technical Leadership:
- Define the overarching mobile architecture and technical strategy for both platforms.
- Drive consistency in patterns (MVVM) and shared logic where applicable.
Team Mentorship:
- Lead and grow a team of 10 engineers.
- Conduct code reviews, provide career coaching, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
Architecture & Design:
- Own the end-to-end SDLC.
- Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., Kotlin Multiplatform, AI-assisted coding) to keep our tech stack at the cutting edge.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Engineers to translate business goals into technical specifications.
Performance & Stability:
- Monitor app health using tools like Firebase or Sentry.
- Optimize startup times, memory usage, and battery consumption across various device tiers.
Android:
Deep expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, and Dagger/Hilt.
iOS:
Deep expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, Combine/Swift Concurrency, and modularization.
Architecture:
Experience with Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions for automated testing and App Store/Play Store deployment.
Data and APIs:
Proficiency in REST/GraphQL, Protocol Buffers, and local storage solutions (Room, SwiftData, Realm).
Tooling:
Mastery of Xcode, Android Studio, Git, and Charles Proxy/Flipper for debugging.
Experience:
8+ years in mobile engineering, with at least 3 years in a formal leadership or Staff Engineer capacity.
Portfolio:
Proven track record of shipping and maintaining large-scale apps (100k+ DAU) in the App Store and Google Play Store
