Job Scope:
Experienced Senior Network Engineer required to modernize and enhance the US network infrastructure to improve reliability, security, and user experience. Key initiatives include replacing end-of-life LAN network hardware and provisioning high-speed internet connectivity services overlaid with new Cisco SD-WAN technology.
 

Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain WAN, LAN, and SD-WAN infrastructure ensuring high availability, security, and scalability
• Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance on network architecture, upgrades, and emerging technologies
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and produce low-level designs and implementation plans
• Lead network projects as both team lead and hands-on contributor
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and managed service providers
• Create and maintain network documentation, configurations, standards, and operational procedures
• Troubleshoot networking incidents, escalations, and performance issues
• Ensure compliance with security and reliability standards
• Prepare and obtain peer review approvals for RoC (Record of Change) documents
• Submit ServiceNow change requests for change management approvals
• Recommend network improvements and emerging technologies
• Prepare operational readiness documents, runbooks, and support documentation using SharePoint
 

Required Skills:
• Minimum Cisco CCNP certification required
• CCIE certification preferred
• Strong experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela)
• Strong knowledge of Cisco WLAN, Cisco ISE, Aruba WLAN, Aruba ClearPass
• Strong routing protocol experience with BGP, OSPF, WAN, and Internet services
• Strong knowledge of Cisco LAN switching technologies:

• STP
• RSTP
• MSTP
• VLANs
• EtherChannel
• Switch Stacking
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches
  • Experience implementing QoS, segmentation, and redundancy
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder coordination skills
